Known as Fritz. Lived in the Elgin Township of Kane County.They were here in time for the 1880 Census though it is likely they were the couple of Friedrich and Sophie Reimer that left Hamburg aboard the Suevia on April 14, 1880, bound for New York. Their place of residence was given as Sülz in Pomerania. With them was a 9-month (!) old Emma Reimer--not their own child, certainly.
