As near as I can tell, this is the woman christened Louysa Juliana as the 9th child of Johannes and Anna Elisabeth Homrighausen--but known as Maria Louise when she married Johann Philipp Dickel.
Born in Hermes Haus, Diedenshausen, but became the tenant in Schneiders.
She had seven children with Johann Christian Fausch before her early death.
The family believes he died in the San Franciso earthquake of 1906. No more is known.

The records of her short life and those of her sister, Christine are confusing. The hand-written records of Clinton County document the marriage of Christine to Joseph McCulley in 1890. Yet Christine is buried as a Schneider in the Wheatland Cemetery while Sarah is buried as a McCulley. Ray Joseph McCulley was born shortly before Sarah's death, and "childbirth fever" was sadly common. The preponderance of evidence seems to be that it was Sarah who was married and not Christine. What accounts for the latter's name in the marriage register is a mystery.
I find no evidence that she had children.
Never married. Was a school teacher.
This Catherine has often been mistaken for another Riedesel/Riddle--by me among others--specifically a Catherine Riddle born in 1839 to Wunderthausen immigrants. The 1880 Census, however, shows that this woman was born in Bavaria about 1832. She is listed with her husband and family in the 1880 Federal Census but is not listed in the 1885 New Jersey Census and you must assume she had died. The grave marker for Catherine Riddle in the Hazen cemetery (d. August 08, 1917) belongs to the Catherine Riddle born in 1839 who never married. There is a Find-a-Grave entry for the latter but I think the birth year of 1832 is in error.
Had no children.
She never married.
