Born in the house Auf der Leye in Wunderthausen to one of the unmarried Wetzel sisters. The best authority says her mother was Elisabeth Juliana and that her father was an Althaus (whose last name she took). Records show her sailing to New York in 1835 out of Bremen on the ship Apollo. It was a party of two, so it is almost certain that her little daughter Elisabeth was with her. Several other people from Wunderthausen were also on board.

After the Stark family left for America, he became the tenant in Jochums house. But he died shortly thereafter, leaving the widow in a bad position. The property was sold cheap to Philipp Müsse.

Recorded as going to America after having been born in Beckers Haus in Wunderthausen. Kin who came later settled in around Oxford, New Jersey, and that would be a reasonable guess as to where he went.

A Johannes Mörchen from Wunderthausen is listed as emigrating to America with his wife and one child in 1738; he was born around 1705 but we don't know where. The records show a Johannes Mörchen as the father of the girl, Anna Maria, in 1737. One assumes he was related to the miller Johann Matthias Mörchen from Bromskirchen, perhaps even his brother. This Johannes is not listed in the birth records for Wunderthausen though he must have resided there.

The man in question sailed to America on the ship St. Andrew bound for Philadelphia out of Rotterdam.

We don't know where she was born or exactly when; ditto her husband, but the birth of their daughter is recorded in Wunderthausen. She went to America with her husband and daughter on the ship St. Andrew bound for Philadelphia out of Rotterdam in 1738.

Born in Wunderthausen in the house 'Unter der Laye.' Apparently went to America in 1864. A record from Wunderthausen gives a death date of 1909 and mentions that he married a woman from Richstein. It is possible that he did not stay in America.

Born in Sohler house in Diedenshausen. Known as Karoline. It seems that she came with her husband and children to the United States on the ship Australia in 1885. I have only found evidence of the name of the one daughter, Wilhelmine. The latter apparently married a Kuhn--a common name in Diedenshausen.

Born in what became to be known as Müsse Haus in Wunderthausen. Where they lived and had children after their marriage, I haven't determined. There seem to be no baptisms for Müsse children in the Gikrhausen parish. In 1885 they sailed to New York with four children on the ship Australia. That's all I know.

He was a forestry supervisor. By 1862 he was living at Petersgrund near Wunderthausen, but came from Röspe.

Came to America with the three children in 1847 on the ship Christopher Columbus, Bremen to New York. What his connection to Wunderthausen was, I don't know. But Wunderthausen is listed as his residence on the emigration documents. Perhaps they had been living with his brother Johann Daniel.
