Known as Frederick in the U.S. He was born in Wagners house in Diedenshausen where his parents were apparently living at the time--or was it just his mother? However, his father had owned the house Gabels (or Bergmanns) in Wunderthausen. Came to the U.S. with his parents on the ship "Humboldt" out of Bremen arriving in New York on May 27, 1867. He was active in a fraternal organization known as the Modern Woodmen of America (Springtown Camp No. 24). Naturalized as a citizen in 1889 in Scott County. In 1900 he was living in the Spring Rock Township and employed as a railroad section laborer.

Known as Louis D. in America. Born in the house in Wunderthausen known as Schreiners/ Grosseludwigs. Came to the US on May 28, 1866, on the ship "Atlantic." It landed in New York and had sailed from Bremen.

He worked at first for a relative, Philip Knoche, in Kansas City, Missouri. In 1868, took the train and steamboat to Davenport. He then worked on the farm of Ephrem Snyder [identity uncertain]. In 1870, he and his brothers George and Henry bought farmland near Wheatland. By marrying Anna Wagner who had suddenly inherited at least something when brother Louis Wagner died, he had a foothold on some rich farmland southwest of Wheatland. Their place was in Section 21 of the Spring Rock Township of Clinton County.

Known as Henry F. Born in the house "Försters hinter der Huthe" in Wunderthausen. He and his brother George Louis arrived on the ship "Oder" out of Bremen and Southampton on May 20, 1881.

Originally farmed with his brother near Big Rock; Henry's land may have spanned Clinton (Section 34 of Spring Rock) and Scott (Section 3 of Liberty) Counties. Moved into Wheatland in 1908 and apparently employed as a church janitor. He was active in the leadership of St. Paul's church. They had no children.
